INTRODUCTION AND BACKROUND

Varymix Nineteen (Pty) Ltd, a privately owned construction company trading as DOMANI BUILDERS, is based in Bloemfontein in South Africa’s Free State province. Domani Builders was established in May 2000 by MD Maree and MJL Wessels.

 

In May 2009, GF Smith joined the Domani Group as Director and majority shareholder enhancing the already established, experienced construction company to new heights.

 

Domani has 62% BEE shareholding and ownership and a current Level 8 BEE status. The company is registered with the NHBRC and Master Builders Association. Domani also has an 8GB PE rating with the CIDB.

 

During the last 18 years Domani Builders has proved itself one of the construction leaders in the Free State, specialising in general building and construction work which ranges from residential developments to industrial developments and larger commercial buildings.

Domani Builders has the experience, finances, equipment and staff to complete projects successfully in time, on budget and to the expected quality of all parties involved.

 

Social Objectives

Domani Builders strives to benefit as many people as possible, from all racial and cultural backrounds by making use of labour from the local communities and accommodating about 15 students per year for onsite (construction) as well as office training.

 

LOCATION

Domani Builders’ fully equipped offices are currently situated at 21 Sand du Plessis Avenue, Estoire, Bloemfontein.

 

MANPOWER

Experienced contract managers, quantity surveyors and administrative personnel are employed, as well as adequate foremen on site. Our carpentry and joinery and steel workshop are also located on the premises of our offices. Apart from their office and manufacturing workshops, Domani also owns a fleet of constrction vehicles, plant and equipment.
